Parades and More Parades

Last weekend Ken participated in two parades.  On Saturday he joined Garfield County Democrats for the Strawberry Days Parade in Glenwood Springs.  Then on Sunday he walked in the Never Summer Rodeo Parade in Walton.  He enjoyed meeting youngsters and touring the new Medical Center.  Volunteer Audrey Mandell drove a car with Ken's signs while Ken greeted people along the route.  Pictures of Ken in Walden were also taken by Audrey.  Thank you Audrey for documenting the event.

On Saturday, June 28th Ken will be in the Eagle Flight Day Parade in Eagle Colorado.

And just around the journey is the 4th of July parade in Steamboat Springs followed by a parade in Yampa!!

Nicole's Comments on Volunteering for Ken

On May 24th, I experience what it was like to be apart of Mr. Ken Brenner's campaign.  I walked along with three other volunteers in the Wild West Day's Parade in Craig.  As it started off raining we all just smiled and laughed.  Many people gathered to watch the excitement.

Mr. Ken Brenner inspired me as he greeted the people along Main Street.  He showed that he was a part of the community who wanted to make a difference.  He also showed involvement in people's opinions.

As the day ended he sincerely thanked me for being a part of this.  I hope in the future to be a bigger part of support for Ken Brenner's election.

Parade in Craig, River Festival in Steamboat, Voter Registration in Basalt

Last saturday, May 24th, Ken along with four volunteers walked in the Wild West Day's Parade in Craig.  Also participating was Democratic candidate Tammy Steward, running for District Attorney.  While the parade started in the rain, by the end it was bright and sunny.

Ken enjoyed introducing himself and shaking spectators hands along the parade route.

In the evening, Ken was guest speaker at the Yampa Valley River Festival.

This Saturday found Ken in Basalt at City Market joining Obama Volunteers' Voter Registration Efforts.  While Ken was there over 50 people were registered to vote.
